Armidale in NSW will be host to the Biological Farmers of Australia (BFA) Road Show on November 30. Organisers say the event will be of particular interest to food producers, processors and retailers in the area. Part of its focus will be the renewed concentration on research and development that growth in the organics industry has allowed. Lack of formative research has obstructed Organic Industry development in the past, they said. Armidale is currently the site of the compilation of one of Australia's largest domestic organic market research papers. The Organic Market Report, due for release early 2008, was contracted to the University of New England by BFA, making Armidale a natural choice for the educational organic event. The Roadshow will be preceded by an organic networking dinner on Thursday, November 29.
