Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the difference between the powder and liquid Henna?
A:
The henna liquid creme is made from extracts of natural plants such as Rhubarb Root, dried petals of Centaurea, Lichen and other dried plants mixed with a dye to obtain a deeper colour. The henna powder only contains powdered herbs that includes henna and other plants to emit a colour. Therefore the henna powder is 100% natural and the liquid is 95% natural due to the dye.

Q: Will the henna cover my gray hairs?
Yes. The henna powder works for people who have less than 20% gray hair. Your colour will not achieve a deep colour but rather a very natural colour and shine. The henna creme works well for hair that has more than 20% gray hair. It contains henna extract to help nourish the hair and a liquid dye to give you the colour. People who wash their hair every other day and with 100% natural shampoo and conditioner tend to retain the colour for a longer period of time. Colour should start fading within 4 weeks under these circumstances.

Q: How long will the henna stay on my hair?
Because henna powder does not contain chemicals it is a semi-permanent hair dye and washes away within 3 weeks. Lasts longer with 100% natural shampoo & conditioner. Repeated application over several weeks is sometimes required to get the desired result.
The henna creme should last about 3-4 weeks depending on what type of shampoo and conditioner you use and also how frequently you wash your hair.
